Lesson one

Aries Natural State of Being...

This represents the Sun sign of Aries and all its characteristics and traits.

  • Explicit, clear, and demanding.
  • Ask for every ounce of commitment and energy from others
  • Eager to make decisions
  • True individuals themselves, they naturally respect individuality.
  • Are pleased when others arrange exactly as they would have wanted.
  • May depend on others entirely to have things perfectly worked out.
  • Naturally make all important decisions and usually without asking for advice.
  • Will not tolerate misunderstandings.
  • Will spot mistakes immediately in those in charge and will also see all their shortcomings and loopholes in their plans.
    • Will keep quiet about many matters till one day, perhaps provoked or unjustly accused of making a mistake, they will list all the unfair and incorrect demands that have been made on them.
  • Aries do their best work in a secure,familiar setting.
  • May find it hard to adjust to new, constantly changing situations.
  • Very good at knowing what they don’t like and letting you know about it beforehand.
  • Extremely sensitive to criticism.
  • Maybe touchy and deeply wounded by an offhand, thoughtless remark.
  • Getting an Aries to laugh or at least smile, at their shortcomings, or at anything amusing or ridiculous in a tense situation, can be a huge help in getting through to settle down after negative remarks.
  • Need to be reassured by their others of their worth.
  • Being Valued for a job well done is all they need.
  • Love to be asked to help and are willing to help out.  But advice should be heeded but not necessarily followed literally. 
  • Giving offhand or casual advice is not really their specialty.
  • Aries driven by challenged
  • Needs to feel important.
  • Being called on for help all the time can make an Aries feel like they are being taken advantage of.
  • Aries are very strong likes and dislikes of people.  They will generally give the other person a first chance, but rarely a second or third if they feel let down or betrayed.
  • Hard to cooperate with those they dislike, who usually won't warm up to them or go out of their way for them.  As well never being the person to reconcile first.
  • Impressed by honesty and directness.
  • Suspicious of manipulative, sneaky, or underhanded behavior.
  • Strongly motivated by challenge, especially seemingly impossible tasks.
  • Appreciate people who show them by example that a certain approach can succeed, argumentative behavior at the very minimum and unemotional as possible is helpful.
  • Like to be heard out when it comes to making objections to their point of view or offering an explanation in their defense.
  • Aries likes individuals to listen to them very carefully.Aries may not always know that another individual does not completely understand them because Aries felt they explain it very clearly.

  • Aries expects people to be alert, intelligent, and totally tuned in to what they have to say.
  • Aries gets bewildered by complexities, problems, and uncertainties that are raised by others and can become very impatient.
  • Aries will feel like they deserve to have their demands met.
  • Aries people are gratified when those they are to meet show up at their best.
  • They overwhelm their opponents with surges of energy, infusions of capital, and dedicated, persistent campaigns that cannot be ignored.
  • Aries own downfall is when they allow others to wear them out so that they end up making a mistake.
  • Aries has a one-track strategy.
  • Aries is not easily impressed.
  • Aries' aggressive approach can backfire when the grand gesture they are aiming for backfires as others accomplish the same objectives quietly and efficiently, dealing more with detail.
  • Nothing will take the wind out of the sails of an Aries attack more than agreeing with them and showing how the two of them working together toward a single objective might turn out better than an all-out war.
Learning about Aries does not just help someone who is an Aries, it helps those who have planets in the sign of Aries in their own birth chart.  We will discuss this in a later lesson.  Just be aware that you too may have an Aries quality about you and may find some of these characteristics in certain parts of who you are.  If you are learning about Aries this is a great resource to better to understand Aries and when you. may have to deal with them within your life.

Hear my thoughts on my take on the the Aries personality.  I wanted to emphasize the more positive aspects in the areas personality so that when we do look at the emotional states of the Aries sign you will be able to see the areas that Aries them self may be able to look at things a little differently on how to approach some of the conflicts that arise from being such an independent sign.  So please make sure you take a look at the Moon in Aries so that you may have a better understanding of some of the emotional issues that may not always help area in combating some of these issues .
